VFR Cleared for takeoff ... an application to enhace you vfr flight experience!

VFR Cleared for takeoff for Android now available on Google Play.

Its goal is to provide VFR pilots with simple and clear, headings and altitudes informations to reach all the previously planned waypoints of the VFR flight.

Pilots know that flight planning must be carefully analysed and we are trainned to keep safety our priority! Charts, plotters, flight computers are our tools... we take them along with our pilot log into the cockpit but we also like to have a backup plan.

VFR Cleared for takeoff intention is to become your backup plan inside the cockpit.

For easy of use VFR Cleared for takeoff has a partnership established with a free flight planning software, please check it out at the top PARTNERSHIP section.

PLEASE NOTE: Being GPS based the application performace is higly related to the precision of your device built-in GPS receiver. You will need to evaluate your device error and then set application tolerance accordingly.

VFR Cleared for takeoff airborned

This small video tries to show the usability of the applicaton in real flight.

Many tests were performed on ground to check application performance, but it was about time to get airborned!!!

This in-flight test was performed in final fase of development on 9th June 2016, and the results were satisfactory.

VFR Cleared for takeoff gets airborned again

VFR Cleared for takeoff was once more tested in real flight on 17th and 18th June 2016. In this flight video you can see v1.0, the free version but with very helpfull features.

With provided indications you will be lead to your previously planned points, and once there you will have an visual alert that the point was reached... and new indications are provided to the next point.

In the free version, at each point you can manually start a timer.

Results were once more satisfactory!
